The family life centre is a hub of support designed to strengthen family life in Stirling and beyond.
Services
The FLC offers one to one support for individuals, parent(s) and families;
FLC PLAY THERAPY SERVICE.
Our play therapy team are all trained with years of experience. They work with children who have behavioural, social or emotional issues in a child a safe place, with no judgements, expectations or agenda. They also work with parents and carers to provide support.
COMMUNITY COURSES
Throughout the year we run a number of community courses including parenting, bereavement, money management, exploring faith and more. If you are interested follow us on facebook to keep up to date with what’s on.
LITTLE BLESSINGS
An initiative seeking to meet the needs of families by providing baby clothes, toiletries, some things for mum and other much needed items. This is run solely through the generous donations of supporters. Want to partner with this?
COUNSELLING AND LISTENING SERVICE
The FLC offers a variety of different counselling and listening services. We have a small number of free and subsidised counselling spaces. If you would benefit from this please do not hesitate to get in touch.
HEART TO HEART
A project bringing hope to adults and children affected by divorce and separation through one-to-ones for children and teenagers, and group sessions for adults.
CAP DEBT HELP
If you are feeling weighed down by debt, then we can help. You may think your situation is impossible, but there is hope. Our friendly team will give you a listening ear in the privacy of your own home and provide a real solution to your debts. MONEY MANAGEMENT
CAP Money is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works. This course will help you to get more in control of your finances, so you can save, give and prevent debt. Stirling Baptist has partnered with Christians Against Poverty to offer CAP Money courses in our community. The service we offer is completely free. AFFORDABLE ROOM HIRE
In the FLC we boast one of the best views on Stirling. We have a large space perfect for conferences/training events and also small rooms available for hire. For more details contact 01786 450581.
