I returned from a year out in New Zealand last year, having met the needs of the travelling bug. I love adventure and will try any sort of sport, apart from bridge jumping, just for fun! (Not great with heights and cliffs!). So if I am not working and hanging out in Stirling, I will be off climbing some mountain somewhere, or camping in the middle of no-where with a bunch of mates. Or I could be practicing those turns for my new found sport; snowboarding, thanks to the Xscape in Glasgow, and a weeks fun in the Austrian Alps early this year! I have been involved in full-time youth ministry for the past seven years, starting off the first two years in Inverclyde as a full-time youth worker. I then left to take up the position of ‘Church Resources Co-ordinator, on the National team of ‘Youth for Christ' which involved travelling all over Scotland and England, running missions, conferences, residentials, events; challenging young people to get excited and passionate about their faith.
