Global Care

Many of us would like to do
something to help the poor,
to reverse injustice and to look
after God's world respopnsibly.
But sometimes the obstacles
seem too great, the challenge
overwhelming.

Our vision is to resource and inspire the church as an organisation, and the individuals within it, to live out their calling to care for Creation and our global neighbours. So far we’ve been involved in all sorts of activities from joining Tearfund’s Global Poverty Prayer Week, running a church recycling scheme and organising events such as the Ethical Christmas Bazaar.
 
If you’re part of the church, we’d love to help involve you in our three key areas; poverty, justice and environment. Anyone can help on any level, from joining the core team to making tea at events, from campaigning to praying! All skills and time are welcome and appreciated. Please ask for a Pledge Card with ideas of how to get involved, or contact us. We’d be delighted to hear from you.
