Church Weekend at Nethy Bridge

On the last weekend of October, a Church House Party of 90 people spent the weekend at Nethybridge. The weekend was pulled together in response to the challenge that Alasdair issued earlier in the year, that we are to be more than church - we are to be community. We met around the campfire on Friday evening. Kathleen Forbes led us over Saturday and Sunday morning to encounter God ina personal and honest way on whatever level we felt safe and comfortable. Team games, treasure hunt, outdoor activities and junior X-factor filled the remainder of Saturday. Sunday morning saw the whole group meet for praise, prayer, testimony and a time of communion.
