SBC celebrates Christmas

Over the Christmas period, SBC remembered that first Christmas in a variety of ways at different services.

Pram Services – where Parents and Toddlers celebrated the birth of a special baby…. The Nativity – when the children of History Makers spelled out the letters of Christmas and reminded us that Christmas is all about Jesus….  Youth Service – the young people in their own way used several sketches about what Christmas means within the title ‘Christmas Actually’….    Christingle – when families used oranges, ribbons, candles and sweets to explore the true meaning of Christmas and who Jesus is, the Light of the World… Carols and Lessons – this was a traditional carol service by candlelight led by a church choir….  Watchnight Service – a special service that marked the Christ child’s birth… Christmas Day Service – a service for the whole family when the birth of Jesus was remembered.
