Small Groups

Stirling Baptist Church has remodelled its Small Group programme based around the 'Reveal' research which was comissioned by Willow Creek Church in USA.

'Reveal' analysed how Christians grow more spiritually mature and what are the stumbling blocks to effective spiritual growth. The research identified four broad stages of spiritual growth, and SBC's Small Group programme has been redesigned with the reseach in mind.

As a result we have grouped our Small Groups into 4 distinctive streams with a focus on encouraging personal spiritual growth:

- finding out more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian

Discover stream
- putting in place the building blocks of an effective Christian life

Grow stream
- integrating Christian faith with everyday life

Develop stream
- ready to move into a deeper experience and understanding
