 RIOT

S1-S6 Friday nights, 7:30pm -10pm.

At RIOT we have created space for our young people to spend time together. We have lots fun and chat, and our programme includes crazy games, music, sport, food, teaching, worship, small group discussion and lots of other things. The sessions are aimed to help our young people be better equipped to cope with life in their world! Over the next few months we will be looking at the issues that they face daily and learn how we can put our faith into action!

Each week we have the chance to explore the Bible and bring it alive!  We aim to encourage our young people to see the bible as their daily bread, to eat the tasty bits, chew on the tough bits, and learn the relevance for our every day lives.

CELLS!

Cells are a safe place where YP can be more open and honest about the things that are going on around them.  We will tailor make the cells to the individual group, some will end up more of a prayer cell while others may want to explore the bible more each week. Cells will be lead by one of the youth team. Our young leaders will also be involved. The Cells will last for one and half hours each week and will be same sex. We understand that it is not always possible for all young people to be involved due to other family commitment and transport. So we leave it optional.

 Youth Alpha

In the Rock Friday 7.30pm- 9.30pm. Youth Alpha is a great way for young people to explore Christianity who have no church back ground
and for our own young people to go though it to understand the reason for
the faith that they have.

 BIG EVENTS

Throughout the year!  Big events are a great way for the young people to feel part of the community of SBC, be encouraged, inspired, help friendships go deeper and bring out the whole element of fun into everything that we do.

Some of the events that we will be organizing throughout the next year, will help our young people develop a heart for the lost, the broken and the poor, by following the example that Jesus taught us. The events will also be encouraging them to go deep in their relationship with God. In a church that is very well resourced and well equipped I believe we are raising up the next generation of young leaders which is very exciting!
