Praise & Worship
At Stirling Baptist Church we have a contemporary worship style an d include older hymns from time to time.
If you don't know a song, don't worry about it, all of the words appear on the screen and all of the tunes are very easy to pick up. Nobody’s going to ask you to sing a solo or to do a dance so just relax. We are also very blessed to have a number of gifted musicians who help us as we worship.
In worship we hope you will feel completely free to praise as you want. Some people like to sit, some like to stand, some like to raise their hands, some like to close their eyes (helps if you know the words for this one!). Please do whatever helps you to enter into worship with God. There is an opportunity for members and vsitors to ask to pray with members of the prayer ministry team.
Message
Every week we hear a message from the Bible. They are delivered by our Senior Pastor Alasdair, other members of the Church and some guest speakers. These are relevant, interesting and are delivered in a challenging and stimulating manner.
During our services there is an opportunity for members or visitors to request prayer for any matter from our prayer ministry team.
Communion
Communion is held every Sunday during one of the three services and all committed Christians are welcome to take part. However there is no pressure to participate if for any reason you do not wish to take part,
What To Wear
Come – as you are.
There really isn’t a dress code – you can decide how smart or casual you want to be. Basically just relax and be yourself.
