Rev Dr Alasdair Black

Senior Pastor

Alasdair Black is the Senior Pastor of Stirling Baptist Church. He came to Stirling in 1997. Prior to that he had worked abroad in the USA and Holland as well as in the south of England.

He studied at New College, Edinburgh and Regent’s Park College, Oxford.
​
He is married with two children.

Rev Rosey McFarlane

Pastor

​Rosey has been involved in full-time ministry for many years, starting off in Youth Ministry, then with Youth for Christ as their Church Resources Co-ordinator nationally. Rosey has been on the staff team at SBC since 2007 and fulfilled many different roles during this time. Rosey was ordained in 2008

She is married to Kirk and they have two daughters Zara and Evie and Poppy the spaniel.

Rev Anthony
​Luxton

Pastor

Anthony joined the team of pastors in 2022. Previously, Anthony was the minister at Dunfermline Baptist Church. He is a keen adventurer and a member of the Ochils Mountain Rescue team. Anthony is married to Rachel and they have two children, Ethan and Isla, and Kitty the cat.
